The Addams Family
The Addams Family - Book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice with Music and Lyrics by Anrew Lippa, Directed by Mitzi Smith. THE ADDAMS FAMILY, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story that is every father's nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family - a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn't upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he's never done before - keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday's "normal" boyfriend and his parents. SUITABLE FOR AGES 10 & UP.

Regarding COVID-19 SAFETY POLICIES for the DEPARTMENT OF THEATRE AT NORTH CENTRAL COLLEGE: Thank you for supporting our safe opening by following these guidelines during your visit. For the protection of our audiences and students, we cannot admit any guests who do not comply with the following safety standards. FACE MASKS - Regardless of vaccination status, all audiences are required to wear face masks that meet Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) standards. Neck gaiters and bandanas are not acceptable as masks.  Masks must cover both the mouth and nose at all times while in the theatre. All guests must wear a face mask in lobbies and college buildings when not actively eating or drinking, and all food and beverages must be consumed prior to entering the theatre. PUBLIC AUDIENCES - To enter the theatre, public audiences are required to provide proof of vaccination or a recent negative Covid test. Proof of full vaccination may be provided with a physical copy of the vaccination card or by smartphone. 'Full vaccination' means 14 days after your second dose of a two-dose FDA authorized COVID-19 vaccine or at least 14 days after a single dose vaccine. Individuals without a medical exception who do not provide proof of vaccination must instead provide proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the performance start time, or a negative COVID-19 antigen test taken within 6 hours of the performance start time. We cannot accept over-the-counter 'home' tests at this time.  CAMPUS COMMUNITY AUDIENCES - Students, staff, and faculty will need to display their North Central College ID card to ushers to be allowed entry into the theatre. Active members of the campus community - including currently registered students, staff, and faculty - do not need to supply proof of vaccination or a recent negative Covid test because they are already subject to institutional safety protocols.
