To engage the campus community in conversation about race, anti-racism, equity, and inclusion, the MLK Week Committee will host the second annual MLK Day Teach-In on the morning of Monday, January 17, 2022. The purpose of the teach-in will be to provide a community-wide opportunity to discuss, learn and reflect on current racial and social justice issues through the lens of Rev. Dr. King’s work and ideas. The event will provide tracks to allow students, faculty/staff, and community members to engage. The teach-in will take place in an in-person/virtual hybrid format
The teach-in will be open to all faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community members. The MLK Week Committee will ask that students be strongly encouraged/incentivized to attend by faculty and staff. The event will be conducted in-person but keep some elements available virtually and will consist of a selection of workshops and lectures conducted by faculty, staff, and students. T
