The North Central College Big Band, under the direction of Tim Coffman, presents a concert featuring two NCC Jazz Faculty guest artists, vibraphonist Brad Stirtz and pianist Chris White. The musical program features music specially arranged by and for Stirtz and White, in addition to the band's own repertoire. This season's series is co-presented by Flashpoint Creative Arts, whose goal is to promote greater understanding of and participation in the art of improvisation with innovative artistic and educational experiences that draw people more deeply into the improvisatory process.
