It can be difficult to hear your voice when it's so very noisy all around you. Art demands that you be fully present whether you are creating or experiencing it. It forces you to turn off the noise around you and focus. Each person has a unique voice – literally and figuratively. Music and art can provide an opportunity to discover who you are and give your distinctive voice a means for expression if you embrace it.
