A screening of selected short films from the 2018 Chicago Feminist Film Festival. The films will include The Little One (10 min, Diana Cam Van Nguyen, Czech Republic) about a Vietnamese girl who grows up in a European town; Scrap Dolls (13 min; Aude Cuenod, USA) about an 11-year old boy on the south east side of Detroit grieving over the loss of his best friend; The Winkles (24 min, Alice Vials, France, 2018 Audience Choice Award Winner for Best Fiction Short) about a young woman trying to find her way in life while working at her father’s bar; and Ctrl Alt Del (9 min, Margaret Katch and Roni Geva, USA), a comedic web series set in an abortion clinic. The program will be introduced by Festival co-founders Michelle Yates and Susan Kerns and followed by a Q&A session.
