Ko's work is an exploration of physical forms, colors, textures and spatial relationships. The paintings and sculptural installations are the result of manipulated motions that involve an intuitive and calculated process of applying pigments and mediums into the surface, Ko begins with a fragmented idea. Through the process of experimentation, each work begins to react to the creative moment and emotional state of mind. Ko's challenge in each of her works is transforming inner-conflicting chaos and emotions into a coherent beautiful work. The end result, abstract in nature, allures viewers to reflect on their own experiences.
