North Central College and U.S. Rep. Bill Foster will cohost an open forum on the topic of climate change from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 6, in the College’s Ratio Hall at the new Science Center, 131 S. Loomis St. Tom Skilling, chief meteorologist at WGN, is a featured speaker. The forum is free and open to the public but a ticket is required; call 630-637-SHOW (7469) or visit northcentralcollege.edu/showtix. There is a limit of four tickets per patron. Doors open at 9 a.m.
*Organizations dealing with matters related to climate change will have booths set up, 9-9:30 a.m. and again from 11:30 a.m. to noon.
