North Central's departments of political science and communications will cosponsor a Presidential Debate Academic Panel and Watch Party from 7 to 10 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, in Smith Hall at Old Main, 30 N. Brainard St. Three of the College's political science faculty members and two outside experts, Dr. Philip Dalton (Hofstra University) and Dr. David Worth (Rice University), are the panelists. Their focus will be on the communication perspectives employed by the two presidential candidates in this first debate. Prior to the debate, panelists will open with brief comments about what to watch for in the debate. Following the debate, panelists will offer comments and Q&A session. This free event is open to the college and local community.
