In honor of the upcoming Memorial Day holiday, North Central College's student-led "Bridging Generations" group will host a roundtable panel discussion at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 19, in Heininger Auditorium at Larrance Academic Center, 309 E. School St. The event will feature two veterans of World War II and two veterans of the Korean War who will share their first-person experiences and give a glimpse into these important conflicts and their continued effects on American society. Moderated by Dr. Will Barnett, associate professor of history, the panel is cosponsored by the College's history department and Monarch Landing. This event is free and open to the campus and local communities. Refreshments will be served.
