North Central College's Office of International Programs presents "Surahbi: An Evening of World Fusion Music" at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, in the theatre at Meiley-Swallow Hall, 31 S. Ellsworth St. Surabhi is a fusion ensemble with Indian, African, Arabic and Spanish flamenco influences. New music, dance groove and traditional pieces will be performed during the free concert. The evening also will feature flamenco and Afro rhythms woven into the rich sounds of Indian classical ragas, embellished with blues and old melodies.
