One of North Central College's signature events, the annual Explore the Sound concert, will fill Wentz Concert Hall with sound and music at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12. Called the "quintessential North Central College event," Explore the Sound is a seamless, theatrically lit and uniquely staged concert that features the Women's Chorale, Concert Choir and Chamber Singers, as well as Chamber String Ensemble, Flute Choir, and several faculty and student soloists. The musicians perform from every nook and cranny of the stunning Wentz Concert Hall. Music is always an interesting variety. This year, there will be everything from Byrd to Pachelbel to Mozart, to rhythmic folk songs from the Philippines to a tribal-flavored piece by Karl Jenkins.
