"Sinatra Forever: Salute to Frank Sinatra" is a concert that pays homage to perhaps the greatest singer of all time. It will be presented at 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, in Pfeiffer Hall, 310 E. Benton Ave. This is not an impersonation show, but an interpretation performed by Rick Michel, one of Las Vegas' premier singers. Variety says, "He is the closest thing to Frank Sinatra we have ever heard." Michel, a master impressionist for more than 40 years, has been touring his "Sinatra Forever" show around the world. More than half the members of his orchestra are musicians who played with Sinatra. They will back Michel in his 22-song set that will cover everything from Sinatra classics to lesser-known hits. "Sinatra Forever" is a timeless concert and part of the American Songbook, with all the original arrangements. Tickets are $50, $40 and $30; call 630-637-SHOW (7469) or visit tickets.noctrl.edu.
