North Central College's student-run Spanish club Fusion Espanola welcomes Surabhi Group (Indo-Arabic-Flamenco) that will perform for the Latin Music Festival at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11. The free event is open to the public and will be held in Madden Theatre at the Fine Arts Center, 171 E. Chicago Ave. "Surabhi features the lush rustic soundscapes of Flamenco woven into the rich sounds of Indian Classical ragas with a dash of blues and folk. The colorful compositions and exciting grooves fuse both innovative and traditional sounds, while incorporating playful dance improvisations." This world music experience promises to excite listeners of all ages!
