As part of a series on "Globalization: A Contested Concept," North Central College's Office of International Programs presents "Globalization: A Colloquium" from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 30, in the Harold and Eva White Activities Center, 325 E. Benton Ave. Visiting Scholar-in-Residence Riat Ismat will deliver the keynote "Shakespeare in the Middle East," followed by breakout sessions led by international students, faculty and students who have conducted research on globalization for various courses.
