Theatreworks USA will delight young audiences with “The Paper Bag Princess and Other Stories,” a musical revue based on favorite children’s books. Two performances will be presented at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday, April 25, in North Central’s Pfeiffer Hall, 310 E. Benton Ave. When a ferocious dragon in “The Paper Bag Princess” smashes Princess Elizabeth’s castle, burns all her fancy clothes and kidnaps her beloved prince, she dons a paper bag and comes to the rescue. But when she’s finally able to rescue Prince Ronald, Elizabeth finds he is not impressed with her “un-princess-like” appearance.
