One night in 1904, two men on the verge of extraordinary ideas meet in Paris' Lapin Agile. One is 25 year-old German scientist Albert Einstein, the other is the 23 year old upstart philandering artist Pablo Picasso. Over the course of the evening, these two brilliant men mingle around the colorful denizens of the establishment and of the Parisian art scene, debating the merits of the art in science. Or is it the science in art? Witty, swiftly paced, provocative and hysterically funny, Picasso at the Lapin Agile magically imagines a fateful and meaningful meeting between two geniuses who would shape the century to come, as only Steve Martin could write it.
