North Central College will host the first-ever Illinois Japan Bowl at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 7, in the Colleg's Heininger Auditorium at the Larrance Academic Center, 309 E. School St. This free event is open to the public. The Japan Bowl is a nationwide academic competition covering a wide range of topics that tests high school students who are studying the Japanese language. The 2015 Illinois Japan Bowl is open to full-time students who are currently enrolled in Level 3 Japanese language classes at a high school in the state of Illinois.
