Breaking Criminal Traditions Panel Discussion and Documentary Viewing
February 12th 2015 join us for the Human Rights Discussion Panel at 6:30 PM in Madden Theater. A panel of experts from varying disciplines including some familiar North Central College faculty members will engage in a dialogue about human rights issues in our own country as well as abroad. They will illustrate the importance of creating awareness of these problems in the public and discuss their unique disciplines, such as the fine arts, as a tool for instigating change. Following the discussion panel will be a screening of the documentary “Honor Diaries”, an insightful culmination of the experiences of nine very different women fighting for equal rights throughout the world. One of the film’s participants will be available after the screening for a short Q and A session
