As part of North Central College's yearlong focus on globalization, a screening will take place of the film "The Square" at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, in the theatre at Meiley-Swallow Hall, 31 S. Ellsworth St. "The Square" was directed by Jehane Noujaim and nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature in 2013 and tells the story of the Egyptian Revolution of 2011. The event is co-sponsored by the Office of International Programs and the Cultural Events committee.
