Springfest Concert: Yellowcard w/ special guest Mighty Fox
North Central College welcomes alternative rock band Yellowcard in concert Saturday, May 17, with opening act Mighty Fox for Springfest 2014. The performance begins at 8 p.m. in Pfeiffer Hall. No one under age 18 will be admitted. The concert is presented by North Central College’s Fine and Performing Arts and College Union Activities Board (CUAB).
Before Yellowcard hits the stage at approximately 8:45 p.m., the up-and-coming band Mighty Fox opens the concert. Based in Chicago, the four-member group has been influenced by Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, U2, Mumford & Sons, Go Radio and has a well-rounded sound that all can relate to and enjoy. Doors open at 7 pm, with separate entrances for public and students. Seating is general admission, with the exception of a reserved section for students. Students will show their student IDs to receive a bracelet, allowing them to enter a reserved seating section. Members of the public will need to show ID to enter--18+ show. No bags, no bottles in the venue. Limited concessions will be served. Merch table available before, during, and after show.
Guests are encouraged to utilize street parking for this event. The Pfeiffer Lot will be reserved for event staff.
