DuPage Symphony Orchestra "Diamond Treasures"
The DuPage Symphony Orchestra's Diamond Anniversary concludes with a moving orchestral essay by American master David Diamond, plus a performance by the winner of the DSO's 2014 Young Artists Auditions for high school musicians. This final program of the 2013-2014 subscription season culminates with one of the most resplendent symphonies in the entire orchestral canon: the emotionally charged, indulgently romantic Symphony No. 2 in E minor by Sergei Rachmaninoff.
