More than 30 piano students, from beginner to advanced, will perform solo pieces and duets for North Central’s Piano Academy Student Recital Saturday, April 26, in Koten Chapel at Kiekhofer Hall. Three separate recitals begin at 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. with short intermissions. Guest performers include students of Elvina Pearce, founder of the Piano Academy and inductee in the 2014 Fox Valley Arts Hall of Fame. The Piano Academy provides piano instruction for both children and adults. Students at any level from beginning through advanced are accepted for lessons. Faculty members are all experienced teachers and professional musicians with degrees in piano performance and pedagogy.
