Documentary screening "Bonhoeffer: Agent of Grace"
"Bonhoeffer: Agent of Grace" (2004), a critically acclaimed documentary that depicts the life of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, will be shown at 7 p.m. Monday, April 7, in Koten Chapel. Bonhoeffer was a Protestant pastor and theologian and one of the most well-known resistors to the Nazi regime who was executed in 1944 just weeks before the conclusion of World War II in Europe. Special guest speaker Michael Lunberg will introduce the film with a short presentation. After the film, Lunberg, Dr. Gregory H. Wolf, professor of German and Dennis and Jean Bauman Professor of the Humanities, and Dr. Lynn Pries, College Chaplain, will lead an interactive discussion about the film and on resistance to oppression.
