Vocalist and North Central College Jazz Faculty member Janice Borla will headline a concert at 8 p.m. Friday, April 4, in Madden Theatre at the Fine Arts Center, 171 E. Chicago Ave. Borla will be joined onstage by fellow members of North Central College’s jazz faculty, including trumpeter Art Davis, guitarist John McLean, bassist Jim Cox and drummer Jack Mouse. The concert will feature selections from Borla’s new CD “Promises to Burn,” just released on the Tall Grass Records label. Tickets are $20/adults, $15/students and senior citizens.
