14th Annual Self-Employment in the Arts (SEA) Conference
This event is geared towards career development for visual, performing, literary, and media art students, faculty, and other emerging artists. Activities include keynote speakers, hands-on workshops, panel discussions, one-on-one mentoring, round table discussions, Juried College Art Competition with $800 in prizes, $1,000 Artistic Business Plan Pitch Competition, and much more. This event is open to NCC students and faculty, community members, serious high school students, and students and faculty from other educational institutions. Last year over 350 people attended from more than 40 different schools. All activities will be held at the Hilton Hotel in Lisle, Illinois.
