North Central College presents its 26th annual Gospel Extravaganza at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb.15, in the College's Wentz Concert Hall at the Fine Arts Center, 171 E. Chicago Ave. Celebrated during Black History Month, the extravaganza will feature performances by North Central College’s Voices of Praise gospel choir, the Joliet Central High School Gospel Choir named New Era, and an extended program by the Wheaton College Gospel Choir. In addition, there will be a special performance by praise dancer Glorielle Williams and original readings about the meaning of Black History Month by two North Central College students, sophomore John Arrington of Harvey and sophomore DeVonne Smith of Lockport.
