It's been more than four decades since drummer/producer Bobby Colomby and friends assembled the first group to successfully blend rock and jazz into a genre-crossing sound and style. Since then, the band established itself as one of the hottest touring acts in the world. The band's second album "Blood, Sweat & Tears" became Grammy Album of the Year, topped the Billboard charts with hit singles "You Made Me So Very Happy," "Spinning Wheel" and "And When I Die." In 2011 BS&T played three sold-out concerts at the world famous Blue Note Jazz Club in New York City with the legendary trumpeter Arturo Sandoval. For its upcoming tour, the band is working on new music with Jeff Lorber and Colomby. Part of our Performing Arts Series.
