Guest lecture by author Rachel Louise Snyder
North Central College welcomes Rachel Louise Snyder, an assistant professor in the Department of Literature at American University in Washington, D.C., and author of "Fugitive Denim: A Moving Story of People and Pants in the Borderless World of Global Trade," for the free lecture, "The Post-Sweatshop World: Ethical Issues and Emerging Trends," at 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 6, in the Theatre at Meiley-Swallow Hall, 31 S. Ellsworth St. The event is part of the College's yearlong focus on global human rights. Snyder is a 1992 graduate of North Central College and holds a master's of fine arts from Emerson College.
