"Sirens" will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 7-9 and at 2 p.m. Feb. 10 in the theatre at Meiley-Swallow Hall, 31 S. Ellsworth St. "Sirens" is a delectable comic fable featuring Sam and Rose, whose 25-year marriage has begun to drift off course. While trying to rekindle the flames of romance on a Mediterranean cruise that promises to "chart the journey of Odysseus," Sam hears distant traces of music that are so utterly sublime, they’re simply too compelling to resist. Written by Deborah Zoe, North Central College’s production will be directed by Deborah Harris, professor of theatre. "Sirens" is produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. Its world premiere was at the 2010 Humana Festival of New American Plays At Actors Theatre of Louisville.
