The DanceWest Ballet production of "The Nutcracker" is a holiday tradition in DuPage County. DanceWest Ballet presents its 21st production of "The Nutcracker," one of the world's most beautiful and engaging ballets. Presented in its entirety, DanceWest artistic directors Regina and Ricardo Moyano have ensured that their version of "The Nutcracker" is an accurate depiction of the original ballet while incorporating the colors, choreography and standards of DanceWest Ballet Company and The School of DanceWest Ballet. Guest artists include Randy Herrera, former principal dancer with Houston Ballet and Joffrey Ballet; Katia Carranza, current principal dancer with Miami City Ballet and Ballet de Monterrey; and Autumn Eckman, associate artistic director of Giordano II Company. Four performances will be staged at 7 p.m. Dec. 14, 1 and 5 p.m. Dec. 15 and 1 p.m. Dec. 16.
