"Immortality 10,000 Years," Lee Benson Artist Reception
A reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, in the College's Schoenherr Gallery at the Fine Arts Center, 171 E. Chicago Ave., for artist Lee Benson's exhibit, "Immortality 10,000 Years" The public is welcome to this free exhibit and reception; complimentary refreshments will be served. Benson's work seeks to examine the methods by which humans seek to become immortal and challenges some of those methods as unworthy of human beings. The exhibit closes Nov. 11. Shoenherr Gallery is open Mondays and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesdays through Fridays 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays noon to 5 p.m.
