One encounters many surprises in life, some good, others not so good. Kimble Bromley's "Resurrection" series paintings are works of art dealing with the many issues involving these surprises and life changing events.
The title "Resurrection" suggests a rebirth after experiencing something wonderful or rebirth after being injured in some way.
These paintings developed from Bromley's own personal life experiences. As with many experiences, they are also human experiences we can all relate to in some way.
The exhibit in Schoenherr Gallery is open to the public. Schoenherr Gallery is located at the Fine Art Center, 171 E Chicago Ave., and is open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays and Saturdays, noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays, and will be open one hour before most performances in the Fine Arts Center.
