Presented in conjunction with the 24th annual Janice Borla Vocal Jazz Camp, the concert series features the eight jazz artists who comprise its faculty roster for the weeklong workshop. Each evening features a different artist lineup and musical program. The camp and concert series are recognized for presenting the most innovative vocalists on the contemporary jazz scene.

Janice Borlas recordings and performances have earned her consistently high praise for her beautiful sound, superb technique, adventurous repertoire and imaginative vocal improvisations. She has been described as "a one-woman jazz tornado" (Jazz Times) and "a stunning singer with a lustrous voice and the technique, imagination and daring of the best improvising instrumentalists" (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette). Her CD From Every Angle was named one of the Best CDs of the Year by DownBeat Magazine.

Jay Clayton has worked with such jazz luminaries as Bobby McFerrin, Fred Hersch, Steve Reich, and the internationally-acclaimed improvisatory vocal group Vocal Summit. Currently based in New York City, she has been described as one of the most phenomenal vocalists in creative improvised music (All Music Guide). Her current CD release In and Out of Love (Sunnyside) has garnered her wide critical praise.

Suzanne Pittson is an exuberant, engaging performer, who has recorded with such jazz artists as John Patitucci, Harvie Swartz, Jeremy Pelt and Jack Walrath. Her current CD Out of the Hub: The Music of Freddie Hubbard earned her a four-star review from DownBeat Magazine. All About Jazz describes her as one of the best singers on todays jazz scene. More than just a singer, Suzanne Pittson is a jazz musician; with a fluid phrasing and stunning tone, she uses her voice as another instrument, improvising and playing with the melodies.
