A 20th century classic featuring razor-sharp wit and iconic songs, "The Threepenny Opera" critiques a society in which everything—justice included—is for sale. It wonders, "Who is the greater criminal: he who robs a bank or he who founds one?" Written by Bertolt Brecht, North Central College’s rendition will be directed by theatre faculty Kelly Howe, featuring the musical direction of music faculty Jeordano Martinez. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. in Madden Theatre, 171 E.
