The Office of International Programs and the ThinkGlobal Arts foundation present a talk by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni--award-winning author, poet and teacher--at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, in Wentz Concert Hall at the Fine Arts Center, 171 E. Chicago Ave. Her themes include women, immigration, the South Asian experience, history, myth, magical realism and diversity. Her work has been published in over 50 magazines, including the Atlantic Monthly and The New Yorker, and her writing has been included in over 50 anthologies. Her books have been translated into 29 languages, including Dutch, Hebrew, Russian and Japanese. Admission is free, though donations will be accepted.
