This is a biopic about of the young Lope de Vega (1562-1635), the most prolific Spanish playwright, poet, and prose writer of the seventeenth century. His renovation of the theater influenced the dramatic art of Spain and Western Europe. He wrote 1500 plays and 4000 poems, and had an adventurous life that imitated his theater.
