Our Saviors Lutheran Church presents Jazz Passion at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 17, in North Central College's Wentz Concert Hall at the Fine Arts Center, 171 E. Jazz Passion features 24 of the best professional jazz instrumentalists and singers from the Chicago area performing a one-hour original musical presentation that tells the story of the last portion of Christ's ministry, starting with His temptation in the wilderness and ending with His Resurrection. Reverend David Abrahamson wrote the libretto which is faithful to the Gospels, and is filled with wit, eloquence, and power. Bobby Lewis (www.bobbylewis.com) , Bobby Schiff (www.bobbyschiffmusic.com )and Andy Tecson (www.churchjazz.com ) contributed to writing the music. Daniel Riley will sing the role of Jesus, and Dawn Holt Lauber, Gayle Bisesi, Jon Negus and Dan MacDonald will be featured vocal soloists.
