The Acting Company presents "Julius Caesar"
North Central College proudly presents The Acting Company in conjunction with the Guthrie Theatre and their production of William Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar". Written in one of the most productive times of Shakespeare’s life, "Julius Caesar" is a classic story of pride and envy, arrogance and honor, and opportunity and strategic errors. "Julius Caesar" blends the history of this iconic Roman emperor with tragic elements and compelling language creating one of Shakespeare’s greatest plays. Since its founding by the legendary John Houseman and Margot Harley in 1972, The Acting Company has performed 135 productions, toured 48 states and 10 foreign countries, making it one of the most respected and praised touring repertory theaters in America. The performance begins at 8 p.m. in Pfeiffer Hall, 310 E. Benton Ave. Tickets are $40, $35 and $25; call the box office at 630-637-SHOW (7469) or visit northcentralcollege.edu/showtix.
