As part of the 2012 NapervilleREADS series, Anderson's Bookshop presents a talk and book-signing by author Antonio Sacre. The event begins at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, in North Central College's Wentz Concert Hall at the Fine Arts Center, 171 E. Chicago Ave.
Sacre is an internationally-touring writer, storyteller, and solo performance artist based in Los Angeles. He has performed at the National Book Festival at the Library of Congress, the Kennedy Center, the National Storytelling Festival, and many international festivals. He is also widely recognized as a performer and workshop leader at museums, schools, and libraries. Antonio Sacre's books for children are: The Barking Mouse, A Mango in the Hand: A Story Told Through Proverbs, La Noche Buena: A Christmas Story.
