Supermodel, TV host and entrepreneur Tyra Banks will discuss her first novel, answer questions from the audience and greet fans Sept. 15 at North Central College. Banks’ appearance is the first in a series of talks by notable authors this fall at North Central College. The Sesquicentennial Author Series is presented by Anderson’s Bookshops. Banks will speak at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, in Wentz Concert Hall at the Fine Arts Center, 171 E. Chicago Ave. The cost is $25 and includes admission to the author talk, question-and-answer session and a copy of her new young adult novel, "Modelland," presigned by the author.
