The Department of Mathematics, in collaboration with the Junior/Senior Scholars Program, is hosting Sonia Kovalevsky Day, an afternoon of encouraging girls to continue in their study of mathematics. The event is funded in part by a grant from the Association of Women in Mathematics and the National Science Foundation.
