For The Giving Tree Band, there is no distinction between playing music and just plain living. The band also seems to be pioneering a global musical movement. The Giving Tree Band's third and latest record - The Joke, The Threat & The Obvious - has no carbon footprint, and their last full-length album, Great Possessions, was recorded with 100% solar power. The band lives, works, and tours the country together - keeping in tune with nature, sleeping under the stars, bathing in rivers, and treating time as the only real currency.
