North Central College's two-day inaugural New Music Festival will feature performances by contemporary music group Dal Niente on April 11 and string quartet Brooklyn Rider on April 12. As part of the festival, acclaimed Russian composer Dmitri Yanov-Yanovsky, a member of the Silk Road Project and composer-in-residence at North Central College, will coach members of various area high school ensembles.
Both performances are in Wentz Concert Hall at the Fine Arts Center, 171 E. Chicago Ave., Naperville. Tickets are $15/adults, $10 students and senior citizens for each performance or $25/adults, $15/students and senior citizens for both performances.
