Former assistant director of the Cultural Policy Center at the University of Chicago, Dr. Grams conducts research on urban art production and is the author of "Producing Local Color: Art Networks in Ethnic Chicago." She is also an artist whose work has been displayed in more than 40 exhibitions in the U.S. and South America. She will discuss her research comparing urban art in New Orleans and Chicago.
