Setsubun Bean Throwing
We will be celebrating a Japanese traditional holiday, Setsubun, or the first day of spring according to the old lunar calendar. Along with tea, snacks, and a brief information session, we will be partaking in "mamemaki", the throwing of soybeans to ward off sickness and evil.
