Chicago author Jian Ping and her daughter, Lisa Xia, host a screening of "Mulberry's Child" from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, in Smith Hall of Old Main, 30 N. Brainard St. The film is based on the book of the same name written by Ping about her experience as the daughter of a high-ranking Chinese government official and her family's struggle for survival during the Cultural Revolution. The Pro-Life club is committed to preserving and promoting the dignity and respect of human life. Meetings are generally discussion based, covering such topics as abortion, the death penalty, IVF treatments, and the new HHS Mandate. All viewpoints are encouraged and are most welcome!

Each week, WONC will feature a new artist or two to play a live set. These events are open to the public and free. Each Tuesday there will also be a live on-air interview at WONC (FM 89.1) between 6 and 8 PM so that listeners have the ability to hear the artist that will be featured for the boilerhouse show!
