Student art exhibition by Samantha Rapp and Alyssa Coy. Titled, "Lifelines," the exhibit includes paintings, drawings, mixed media and sculptures that reflect the values and creativity of the artists.

Beginning with paper--from found papers in recycling bins to handmade ones made from plants in her backyard--Laura Lein-Svencner sands, alters, abuses and manipulates. Textures are formed by adding gesso, molding pastes and acrylics, with a hint of the hand-pulled stitching with thread and beads. One way that we have proposed to meet this interest is by inviting pastors and other local UM leaders to discuss topics such as: "Where do young adults fit-in, in ministry?", "Advocacy, what is it good for?" and "Navigating the Ordination Process". We will also be providing a free dessert. :)
