Pianist Frank Caruso played with the U.S. Navy jazz band in the Commodores in Washington D.C., and was a featured performer at the White House birthday party for Duke Ellington. Since then, he has appeared with many well-known musicians, such as Luciano Pavarotti, Henry Mancini, Louis Bellson, Maynard Ferguson, the Count Basie Orchestra and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
